With the song playing I swapped one earbud, swapped the plug, and then swapped the other ear. At first, I was hit by this wave of disappointment -- the sound from the CX200 seemed *worse* than the cheap earbuds they replaced. You are getting them because you want a cheapo pair of ear buds that don't sound too bad, which is exactly what you get with the CX200. Pros: Very comfortable I completely forget they are in my ears. They are in fact, so light and have almost zero feeling in the ear, that it is nearly distracting, since I am not used to such localized music in my ear canal without the feeling of something stuffed into my ear holes. Reinforced connections: A lot of ear buds break after tugging the wire over and over to remove them, but these are a bit sturdier, with a shrink wrap tube where the wires meet the ear bud. Decent sound: You won't be using these in the sound booth or to mix music on your laptop, but in the garage or datacenter or on the bus, they are good enough. Highs and mids are good.
